Age Groups & Point System

To ensure that our caregivers does not exceed 16 points we use the following point system to determine if an additional caregiver is needed.

Our Learning Environments

Infants

Our infants range from birth to 15-months and count as four points each on our 16-point system.

Toddlers

Toddlers from 16-months through 23-months of age count as three points each on our 16-point system.

Preschool

Preschoolers from two through four years of age count as two points each on our 16-point system.

Pre-K

Pre-K children from five years through nine years of age count as one point each on our 16-point system.

SAC

School-Age Children from ten years of age and older count as zero points each on our 16-point system.

Our Approach

Our approach is founded in the STREAMin3 theoretical framework, which states that children learn best by providing emotionally and instructionally supportive interactions within an integrated and intentional context.
